Led by IDC & IDI-UK Intimacy Coordinator Yarit Dor

This 2 day workshop is aimed at Producers, Production Managers, Screen Directors, Line Producers and Production Coordinators, Script Writers etc. You’ll learn about the role of the Intimacy Coordinator, what they do, how to find/engage them and how to create safe and supportive working environments for actors. You’ll also be introduced to IDI’s pillars of intimacy and how they can be applied from rehearsal right through to production.

The course will have a mix of discussion and practical exercises and will also cover:

• Performer rights
• Sensitivity and consent on-set
• Modesty garments and barriers
• Nudity riders
• Closed set protocols
• Health & Safety considerations when scheduling and schooling intimacy scenes
• When is it necessary to hire an Intimacy Coordinator and what are the standards you should check when interviewing them.
