PROGRAMMES' STRUCTURE
Our programme incorporates theory, hands-on practice and independent study
at a postgraduate level.
Staff includes IDI-UK Education Team and Guest Practitioners
MODULE 1: INTIMACY FUNDAMENTALS
All participants join six weekends, one weekend a month.
Between each weekend there are assignments, independent study, practice.
MODULE 2: FIVE DAY INTENSIVE
Participants separate into their chosen pathways
Intimacy Directors Intensive
Intimacy Coordinators Intensive
MODULE 3: MENTORING
Assignments, tutorials, shadowing & assisting (pending production approval)
CERTIFICATION
CPDs in related topics & renewals of MHFA etc required to retain status with IDI-UK

FAQ
1 How do I apply? What are the pre-requisites?

2 Can I do both intensives and become an Intimacy Director and Intimacy Coordinator simultaneously?
Not at the moment since both intensives will be running on the same dates. This means you may need to join the next Part 2 of the other pathway later on in the year. This will give you time to digest information, to get practice-based understanding and attain intimacy-related credits before training in the other pathway.
3 I'm already an ID/IC Apprentice or ID/IC with another training provider. Can I then enter straight into Part 2?
In general, you will be asked to join Module 1 since every training provider uses different terminology, ways of working and approach. At present, entering straight into Module 2 (Specialism) is only open to those that have done Module 1.
We do however treat every individual request on a case by case basis so do contact us so we can consider your request, knowledge and expertise.
